The article assumes DS has lacking "core" game support when that's entirely false. Entirely. Sure, the DS has a lot of throw away titles like Lumberjax, but it also has LOADS of deeper, more varied games. And they continue to come out to this day. Archaic Sealed Heat by Mistwalker, DQIX, Flower Sun and Rain, Front Mission, Fire Emblem, Phantasy Star Zero, Suikoden Tierkreis-- the list goes way longer and this is just upcoming.
The PSP shouldn't go anywhere. It has its g...
In your opinion, how would a Halo RPG be flawed?
I don't see how blinding yourself to the rest of the industry makes you intelligent.
Yeah, the online is still top notch even compared to newer releases.
For sheer features, I don't think any other console game has outdone Halo 3's online. So as long as they support it, we can expect a lasting multiplayer experience.
I can't believe anyone still uses "is doomed" in an article title.
I personally hate rampant QTEs and the news put me right off Ninja Blade. But 'doomed' just doesn't seem feasible when you have big titles like God of War still using them and selling.
So what they're saying is I shouldn't expect serious news from Blend Games.
Yeah, but a LOT of people have crap interaction with GS.
Gamestop is corporate, and as we all know corporations have a lot of self-serving policies which do nothing to endear themselves with the consumer. They make any return of an opened product a pain in the ass, and your trade-in values aren't that high unless it's a recently released game. It makes no sense to real gamers since we don't trade in a good game after only a week or two. No one likes having to give away three $70 ...
Somehow this turned into a "what PS3 needs to do to pull ahead" article.
Here's the problem. Maybe you think because myself and others don't consider this some sort of insult to the gaming community that we somehow think MS should get away with every bad thing it's done. That's not the case.
In reality, we're just poking fun at people who think finding a free box is some sort of treasure hunt that ends in a fight with Lavos at the centre of the world.
Maybe I just live in a box rich state, but how is it a huge hassle to find an empty?
ZOE: 2nd Runner is a great pic. Incredibly cinematic.
My personal faves:
FF6's March into Narshe. Old school, I know. Still great.
FF7's intro with Bombing Mission. Great start to an RPG.
FFX's blitzball with Tidus. Dunno if you can consider it an intro but holy hell what a scene.
Chrono Cross
Ninja Gaiden on NES. Used to think that was the coolest thing ever.
MS surely knows how to fan the flames. I think that comment brought out the F-boy in nearly everyone.
Anyway, we all know anyone can talk a good game. Let's just wait to see if the results match up.
"Also, at one point during the proceedings, Gibson claimed that plastic guitar controllers should be considered actual musical instruments since they make a clicky sound."
Now THAT's sad.
I really don't know what Gibson was up to here. Sounds like their idea barely approaches the concept of GH.
OMG LIEK RLY?
Reported.
"One of the main features of Ninja Blade are the QTE moments, which appear quite often. In fact the game is so laden in these that you'll be spending a lot of time poised and ready to tap the correct button or stick inputs during the more cinematic scenes."
Turned me off right there. For god's sake, not every action game needs a QTE sprung on you in the middle of combat.
Shenmue 3 & Kotor 3. MAKE THEM.
"go back to exclusivity"
What am I missing here? When was GTA ever exclusive? It has always been on multiple platforms as far as I know.
...this site apparently got word straight from MS a while back and posted it on N4G:

Not sure where they got the Rare part from (that's probably the rumour), but the original announcement of two new games seems genuine enough.
However, assuming they'll be AAA at this point is nonsensical, I agree.
Played Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines for the first time last night.
100% sure I had a better time than movie goers.
I've played a few truly bad FFs. I wouldn't consider this the worst, personally.
I loved the gameplay therein with hunts and such. I spent most of my hours grinding and it was actually enjoyable. I consider that a huge accomplishment in any RPG.
Didn't care for the story though. They could have done completely without the two kids, imo. Basch however had a lot of depth.
